My stay at this hotel was quite a mix. The charm of the heritage building is appealing, especially being so close to Spark Arena for events. However, the location within a train station led to consistent noise, and there were some concerns about security. Overall, it’s decent for its central position, but be prepared for the downsides.

Rooms
7.0
The room was long and adequate, matching the pictures I'd seen online. It was also equipped with a standing fan that kept it comfortable during my stay.
Service
6.0
The service was okay but not ideal. It took a while for someone to assist me at the front desk, and only being given one key was a hassle.
Location

The hotel's location is great for events at Spark Arena, making it a good choice if you're attending a concert. It’s centrally located, but the noise from the train station and activity outside can be disruptive.

I found the facilities rather lackluster, especially with noise from outside and a cramped shower. Not what you’d expect from a grand hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel, which, while steeped in heritage and conveniently located next to Spark Arena, had its share of challenges. My room was clean but quite small and cluttered, and the noise from the train station and construction outside was very disruptive. Parking was an added cost, and the security felt lacking, which made for a less than ideal experience overall.

Dining options were limited as there was no restaurant, just a basic self-consume breakfast box provided the night before.
Facilities

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from Spark Arena, making it ideal for concert-goers. However, the noise from the train station was quite bothersome, especially at night. The room itself was spacious, but some aspects left a bit to be desired, like the small shower and limited amenities. Overall, it's a decent choice if you prioritize location over tranquility.

Rooms

The room was long and spacious, but the shower was quite small. It felt more like a hotel than an apartment, lacking cozy seating and warmth in decor.
Service

The service at the front desk was slow, and there was only one key card provided, which became a hassle.
Location

The hotel is right next to Spark Arena and centrally located, but being at a train station comes with significant noise throughout the night.
Dining

Dining options were limited. Breakfast consisted of pre-packaged items delivered the night before with no real restaurant available.

The hotel has a unique charm with its heritage and history, making it an interesting stay. I enjoyed the convenience of being close to Spark Arena, perfect for concert-goers. However, the location next to a train station means it's quite noisy, especially at night, and the parking situation is less than ideal. Additionally, the small shower and limited room access due to only receiving one key were minor inconveniences.

6.2/10

The hotel offers a unique experience with its heritage charm, especially being right next to Spark Arena, which makes it convenient for concert-goers. The long room has high ceilings and a nostalgic vibe, but the downsides include significant noise from the train station and cranes working at odd hours. Additionally, the only one key/card policy can be quite inconvenient for groups. Overall, it has good value if you're considering budget options near central attractions.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms are long with high ceilings, giving a spacious feel, and they have windows that open, which is a nice touch. However, the small shower was a bit disappointing.
Service
6.0
The front desk was a bit slow to respond, which could be improved, but overall it was decent.
Location
9.0
The hotel is excellently situated near Spark Arena and a short walk to major areas, making it ideal for accessing events and public transport, despite the noise from the train station.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were underwhelming with limited breakfast choices delivered the night before. It felt a bit lacking with no toaster available.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities could use some improvements, especially in terms of noise insulation and kitchen amenities.
